i will be applying for 2 days of leave next week, 25 and 26 of November 2009, nope, not because i want to clear my leave.. in fact, for this year, i only have 4 days of AL. :”(

Jeng jeng jeng……. those 2 days of leave plus the public holiday on the 27th and 28th (saturday) is for me to go to TAIWAN- taipei! Me going there with my sis for 4 days and 3 nights… Yay! excited excited!!!!

yes, i found out the date.. Day 4 in Beijing… went to Summer Palace, this is the place for the emperor to stay during summer… apparently the “main” Palace that’s in the heart on Beijing was too hot for the empress during the summer…  *sweat*  it’s true…

Now i shall teach you how to eat Peking duck…

1st. you eat the skin (reminds me of suckling piglet) Yummy!

The chef will slice the duck in front of you

place a "popiah skin"

add in a slice of the meat and a some "sweet" sauce

then you may add in as many strips of leek and onion to it

wrap it the way you would wrap the normal kinda popiah. & Voila!

The waiters actually “performed” the steps of eating Peking duck to us upon my aunty’s request. Then hor, that waiter was going to feed me some more, so paiseh lar, but because he was standing in such an odd position i gestured him to just put in on my plate… btw, the step by step instructions above is done by me, the waiter didnt even wrap as nicely as i did… HAHAHA!

OH! you got to ask them to give you the sisa of the duck, with it you can boil a pot of soup or even cook porridge… aint joking!

… i was in Beijing. Ah, the cold weather; the strong breeze; my uncle’s mansion; his very playful dogs: Harry and Potter, still remember me screaming when i saw Harry running towards me when i first arrived at his house… hmmm… i am still trying to figure out the date i flew there… Time flies… Beijing is really not bad afterall… oh yea, and… HAHAHA, i am still not done blogging about my Beijing trip until today, been lazy and procrastinating.

Where did i stop? i think neither of us remember… hahaha, i think it’s Day 2.

So, Day 3: (will keep it short and simple, after all, this is not something new, am just writing for records sake )

Soya. The best i have tasted... in Beijing.

Not bad at all~!!! the price? about the same as McD for one set: 1 cup of soya + Yoo Tiao + mee or rice.

This is The Garden… yea, if i remember correctly, this huge place was the emperor’s garden… How lavish huh? and of course, in this garden there are also 殿 ”halls”…

Come to think of it, their ancient buildings are all more or less the same. The edges of the roofs must have those thingies – little tiny creatures (sorry, didnt take any close up photos of their roofs) those are to guards to shoo demons away. And their doors had… erm, dont know how to describe (no photo either), if you’ve watched chinese dramas you would have noticed that they have to cross the barrier that’s at the bottom of the door, those “bariers” is to prevent ghosts from entering their premises.

Do I miss working behind the scenes? I must admit that I do, couldn’t believe that I actually would. But why not? After all, technical thingies are my interest… when I was thinking about the job I am currently doing, I realize the features of job are everything that I didn’t want to do. How interesting.

Lately I had “some sort” of contact with some production house’s crews, they were at my office shooting some malay drama/tv series. They borrowed bunting and racks from my office, so I was asked to “liaise” with them. Suddenly those feelings (the ones I experienced during my internship) came back. LOL! That led me to flashback a lot of other things :) the people I was in contact with, oh boy, how I miss them… Haih~

I have a weird feelings about this job, not sure why, maybe it’s because I got it a bit too fast and easily, I feel that I might lose it just as fast and easily…

My job offer has been withdrawn… i am disappointed, but what can i do? It’s only fair for them to withdraw the offer because i have other interest in mind…

Dont get me wrong, i AM keen on this Advertising and Promotion Exec post (for an upcoming niche mall in subang), but my heart is on something else… from the questions i asked her, she sensed that i have doubt…

Nvm, another learning experience in the school of life, i trust God has closed the door for a reason, only He knows what is the best for me, time will tell…

Hahahahaha! today was my last day of invigilating/exam assisting in UTAR Sg. Long. i think i am gonna miss those friendly tutors/officers whom i’ve worked (rather) closely with during the past few weeks for the next few days. LOL! bleuk!
