He did it again… I am so so pissed off! This colleague of mine in the department (AV) where I am doing my internship shoved me out of the room because he was conversing with his gf who is in Australia via Skype during working hours! I needed to get the RTM approved scripts for Film Stage ASAP, and there he was chatting away with his gf literally pushing me out of the room (which he shares with the HOD, but the HOD wasn’t there when he did that to me! Grrrr…). My goodness, it’s totally absurd!!! I couldn’t believe it!
The 1st time he crossed my path was when he just got transferred from production dep. to AV dep. and my supervisor was away in Bangkok for holiday. I had to do almost all the calling of suppliers because the reason given was that he didn’t know the suppliers (as if I know the suppliers any better than he does)! He was feeling really important to be THE ONE people spoke to regarding new project, after all the talking he will say “ok, no problem, I will get phoebe to call the supplier to enquire about it” -.-||| then on the last day of our boss’s vacation, he suddenly informed me that I have to attend a briefing with our supplier, when asked about the details needed for the meeting, he said “that is what you got to find out during the meeting later” as he himself also didn’t know anything. FINE. So i took down all the important details during the meeting, then when the meeting was over, he borrowed my ‘note’ and copied everything. The next day when the boss came back, he told my boss that HE TOLD ME all the details about the meeting. I was so stunned that I couldn’t find myself to say anything at all! GOSH! You should really be ashamed of yourself, a man in his thirties stealing the credit due to a 22-yr-old girl for the jobs that she did! You are so unmanly! Damn it! Fight someone you size!
He enjoyed ordering me around to do this and that. I really don’t mind as I was quite free in the office, but he himself too was not busy at all. So he wants me to type out all our suppliers’ contact info when there is already a directory! Nevermind, I patiently typed out all our regular suppliers’ contact info, but it wasn’t good enough, he wanted me to type out ALL the rest of the suppliers’ contact info that is in that directory! Did he realize that for each contact i typed, i would first have to find out the validity of the address, the telephone numbers, etc etc. but in this industry, many companies are here today and gone tomorrow. I tried to reason it to him, but his smoke-filled brain (heavy smoker ma) couldn’t understand, keep insisting that i do just as he said. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr~! I was really mad at him, why do you even need me to type out our suppliers’ contacts anyway? Kononnya, it will make things easier for him and our HOD should they want to contact the suppliers, YEA RITE! Our HOD has everyone’s number in his handphone, i dare to bet with you that Mr. Boss doesn’t need this list at all!
Stop asking me to do your job when the boss is not around! Stop reporting to the boss on some jobs as if you actually did them! Stop annoying me during office hours, do you have any idea how irriating that is!!!
