Phantom Tapper

Joee went to corp comm class with us today, so she was sitting next to me and we were sitting behind Peggy and san. And during the class, we got bored, so we decided to poke peggy with the pen. The funny thing was peggy kept turning behind after every single tapped with that facial expression, and all three of us couldnt stop laughing at her reaction. But the prob was that neither I nor joee was the one who tapped her, yet she kept turning behind looking at us as if we did it… hmph~~~ Not too sure who or WHAT tapped her…

Alright, forget about the 1st stanza, it’s bunch of crap which probably no one would understand.

My mid term test is finally over~! WooHOO! was fetching Joee home after the test, got myself thinking at those questions, so deeply engrossed in my thought i didnt notice the traffic light turned green, ended up getting honked by the kancil behind me! LOL!

oh yea, and i read out loud my answers during the test during the last moment of the test, hoping i would.. ahem.. get the attention of the 2 girls beside me, but to my dismay, they totally disregarded me and said i made too much noise -.-

so hor, Milk, Bread, Thunder = UC

Anyway, this post is soo pointless, haih~ i guess this is life… can be painfully plain and dull at times…

I found some cute new guys lately, i see them once a week, only on sundays though at 9:00pm-10:00pm. To my dismay i can only see them through the glass… of my tv. I am talking about Colin Morgan and Bradley…something. And i still can’t decide which one i like better…

should it be:

I just love the both of them~ oh, i forgot to mention that they are the leading actors for The Adventure Of Merlin – TV mini series. They are the reason i like this series, LOL! Well, not exactly, i like it because it’s an English English movie. Their English accent. And it tells of the story of Young Merlin before he became the Old-Wise-Merlin.

oh oh, Colin Morgan is only 22~! My AGE!!! LOL! while Bradley James is 24. Help! i cant make up my mind as to which of them i should love whole-heartedly!

hmph~ maybe Colin Morgan. *Blush*

wonders of green tea

saw these tips on Yahoo, so am writing this in my blog to help me remember them…

Green tea reduces puffy eyes – Soak a cotton pad in green tea & place it over the eyes for 10 min, hmph, maybe i can put that eye mask (joee gave) on top of it?

Green tea can soothe skin – Place (cooled) green tea in a spray bottle and mist on sunburned area. Can also be used as an antiseptic to spray on skin blemishes or irritations.

Green tea can soothe sore throats – Gargle with green tea to soothe a sore throat.

Green tea is even good for the feet – Soak tired feet in green tea can prevent unpleasant fungal infections.

I dont believe it’s all good about drinking green tea…

Tea shouldnt be drank too much, cos it tea has caffeine in it, it can cause insomnia, and it increases urine production, and a book wrote that the body will try to retain as much water as it can to prevent dehydration thus resulting in weight gain. LOL.

Why must there always be pros and cons to everything? Haih~ i guess there’s always 2 sides to a coin huh…

Curios case of Buttons?

The title of the movie plus Peck Ling (who has never stepped foot into the cinema until last december during our Form 6 class gathering) kept asking me about this film last year got me curious.

erm, no photos… hehe… my movie kakis have all blogged about it, not wanting to be left out, so, here i am blogging about it. :P

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Sounds interesting. Even more with so many nominations for it. I really had HIGH expectation of it. VERY HIGH. i guess, pplwith high expectation will feel the pain even more excruciatingly when reality hits. From the tone of my writing, anyone would be able to guess that i was greatly disappointed. This movie is waaay tooo draggy… on and on… NST was right, it cud have been further edited and duration shorten by at least30 minutes! I kept bothering San during the movie, asking her from time to time, “why is he still so old?” ; “How old is he now?” it seems never ending… sorry lur, i think San would never want to sit beside me again for our next movie,well, ifthere is a next time. LOL!

No doubt, some parts are meaningful, but i left the cinema feeling what-was-that-movie-about-? It didnt leave any impact on me. Where are the parts that are said to be touching? I am someone who get emotional rather easily, yet i dont feel anything at all throughout the movie except the feeling of boredom.

Haih~ disappointed. Maybe i should have attended that replacement class instead. :P

Looking forward to slumdog millionaire!

Yeap, peggy was like ants on the hot pan (direct translation fr mandarin. LOL.) while making a cheesecake for her valentine. To see her hopelessly preparing those ingredients is sweat dropping (Kudos to me for creatively created an interesting word with an interesting meaning ;p). I hope she enjoyed herself making that cake and hope that she will have a memorable valentine this year. Well, and thank you for the chips, soya milk and soya puding. LOL. oh and not forgetting the sban siew bao. Thank you. I nervously hope that the cheesecake will turn out fine! :p

actually, i dont really fancy cheesecake, but i just cant resist baking them… HAHAHA, that is why i reacted that way when peggy said she would bring a piece of cheesecake to me on monday. No offence yea~

On my way, i THINK i saw lawrence and cathering at the traffic light on the opposite direction, maybe they are on their way for a candle light dinner. :p

i am still mad about group work… i dont even want to talk about, i can’t believe it! I am one who hates injustice & refused to be ill-treated, yet, i cant prevent these from happening in my group, everything happened under my nose! The only word that came to mind was:

D-I-S-A-P-P-O-I-N-T-I-N-G

I am very disappointed, too disappointed for words…

I am not fa lan za’ing’, i am just MAD. FULL STOP.

Dont attempt to talk to me about it F2F and pls dont even discuss about it behind my back. Just leave it as it is. Thanks.

Everyone said he likes me, but i shrug off that idea, he married with kids and he is my lecturer! oh well, yeah, he showed concern for my groupby smsing me, yes, of all the members in my group, he smsed me! Maybe a lil bias to my group because of… me?

Below are his text msges:

1st -> Hi Phoebe, did yr group managed to talk to the technicians to secure the parking lots for yr group activiti tmrow? Hopefully everything will go smoothly for yr group tmrow.

2nd -> Ok, c u tmrow. take care and good night.

First of all, he didnt identify himself, good thing is i roughly remembered those numbers while he scribbled his hp number on a piece of paper.

Isn’t it weird to have a lecturer texting a students “take care and good night”? It gave me a LIL goose bump… It sounded so cheesy. I never had the experience of having a lecturer showering me with so much care and concern, it’s never my intention to make his wife jealous of him texting his student, boy~ it’s freaking me out… what am i supposed to do?!

Actually, it’s scandalesslah, get what i mean? SCANDALESS

This lecturer is a super nice guy, never have i met any lecturer this helpful, patient, responsible and understanding. Very soft spoken and funny in his own way. I have ntg else to say about this lecturer except he is REALLY VERY NICE man, and his wife should be very proud of him. I only wish all the lecturers in UPM are as good and noble as him. Thank You Dr for everything you have done for me and my friends! Seriously appreciate it alot!

*sigh* again, this post doesnt sound like what it should have sounded. I am suffering from… brain block? idea block? mind block? or is it writers’ block? There is this word andre used when he’s lost for words/ideas while scripting (by that i mean script writing). 

nvm, no point thinking too hard for that one word…

I am writing this crap, because it’s one way of escaping reality, i dont know why do those nasty assignments keep coming back to me… go away, shoo! Shoo!!!! As of this year, i still have not submitted anything regarding my thesis to prof yet, i really should be worried, i just wish to be relieved of these assignments so that i would that tiny weeny time for my thesis. But what can i expect, it’s afterall a group work, where not everyone is working their heads off… “lucky” them?

enough said, i am going to bed now, and i have save tomorrow for my thesis, keeping my fingers crossed that there would be MINIMAL intrusion of other assignments…
